I found some kind of trees in Izumo Shrine.

This is one of the two shrines which represent this country.

Another one is Ise shrine.

Black pine, Pinus Thunbergii on gateway to the shrine. This tree is called “黒松 / Kuro-matsu” in Japan.

Japanese ceder is planted beside the main shrine hall. This is Cryptomeria Japonica which is called “杉 / すぎ / Sugi”.  We can find something white on trunk of tree. That is fortune slips which is tied up the trunk.

The foliage looks sharp but actually it has soft and flexible structure.
